The 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 is the first sport to use the new Aquatics Centre,
at The Olympic Park.
On 21 February 2012 I was invited by a friend who is really interested in water sport. I decided to go because the first reason was I wanted to see the Olympic Park and what the buildings looked like and I have never seen a diving competition before
My first impression of the building designed by Iraqi-British architect (Zaha Hadid) which looks like a wave on the roof.
More than fifty countries from all over the world had attended this competition but nobody from Thailand.Perhaps Thailand doesn't have any good divers or maybe we don't have enough money to support this sport. Anyhow Chinese divers seemed to be the best in this competition perhaps The Chinese government spend a lot of money on training and development.
การแข่งขันกีฬากระโดดน้ำรอบเวิลล์คัฟ ปีนี้จัดขึ้นที่ ณ กรุงลอนดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ ดิฉันได้มีโอกาสไปชมการแข่งขันกีฬาประเภทนี้ที่ สนามโอลิมปิค 2012 ขอบอกไปตามความเป็นจริงว่า ส่วนตัวดิฉันไม่ได้มีความรู้เรื่องกีฬาประเภทใดๆเลยค่ะ รู้แค่อยู่ในกรอบ แล้วอีกอย่างกีฬาประเภทนี้ก็ไม่ค่อยได้รับความนิยมเท่าไรนักในประเทศไทย
แต่ที่ทำให้ดิฉันสุดตามากที่สุดคือ นักกีฬากระโดดน้ำแต่ละคน หุ่นเซี๊ยะทั้งนั้น เล่นเอาหัวใจดวงน้อยน้อย ของดิฉันแทบจะหล่นลงไปอยู่ที่ตาตุ่ม.
ในการแข่งขันกระโดดน้ำครั้งนี้มีนักกีฬาจาก 50ประเทศ ทั่วโลกเข้าร่วม รวมทั้งประเทศเพื่อนบ้านเราอย่างมาเลเซียแต่เสียดายที่ไม่มีประเทศไทย เข้าร่วมรายชื่อในการเเข่งขัน
นักกีฬากระโดดน้ำจากประเทศจีนนั้น ยอดรวมทำคะเเนนได้ดีกว่านักกีฬาจากประเทศอื่นๆที่ร่วมการแข่งขัน อาจจะเป็นเพราะว่า ประเทศจีนนั้นให้เงินสนับสนุนการกีฬาเป็นอย่างดี
เพื่อนๆคนไทยที่จะมาดูการแข่งขันกีฬาโอลิมปิคที่ลอนดอนปีนี้ ถ้าเจอดิฉันก็อย่าลืมทักทายกันบ้างนะค่ะ เพราะว่าดิฉันจะไปประจำอยู่ที่นั้นแน่นอน
